RULES OF THE EVENT

  1. The event follows the regulations of the Basque Triathlon Federation (www.triatloi.org).
  2. Championship of Euskadi. Double Olympic.
  3. The circuit will be open to the traffic, so it is necessary to respect traffic rules.
  4. Participation numbers will be handed in from 17:00 to 19:00 on Friday and between 09:30 and 12:00 on Saturday at the Tourist Office, with no time addition.
  5. Participation numbers will be handed in from 12:00 to 12:30 to those who may be in the waiting list and are attending the delivery of the numbers, according to the order they have been registered. This will take place at the Tourist Office in Zarautz at the time that has been said, nor before neither later.
  6. Transition area will be opened to check the materials from 12:00 to 14:00 with no time addition. It will be compulsory to show the licence of 2007 together with a picture and the ID, EHNA or passport in order to get into the control.
  7. The first segment (swimming) will need to be finished by an hour and the sum of the first two segments (swimming and cycling) will need to be completed in no more than 4 hours. Any participant who needs more than these times will be obliged to hand in the participation number.
  8. All the athletes who have their licences brought up to date will be allowed to participate. Sub 23: born in 85/86/87/88. V.1.: born between 59 and 68. V.2.: born between 49 to 58. and V.3. the ones who were born before 48.
  9. Drafting is not allowed.
  10. The Organizing Committee keeps the right to modify the itinerary and to neutralize a part or the whole event if unexpected circumstances made it necessary and it also keeps the right of admission.
  11. The Organization declines any responsibility upon possible moral or material damages that could happen before, during and after the event.
  12. The informative meeting will take place at the meeting room of the Town Hall of Zarautz at 10:00.
  13. There will be two departure times: Females at 14:45 and males at 15:00.

  • Rules for money refund:
    • All the money will be refunded to those who may be in the waiting list in the day of the event.
    • In case of drop out:
      • Unti14th April, 75% of the payment will be refunded
      • Till 14th May, 50% of the payment will be refunded.
      • From 15th May on, no money will be refunded.
  • The provisional list will be done following the order of registration and payment.
  • Those who are out of the list will go to the waiting list.
  • The definitive list will be published on the 31st of May.
  • The organization will offer participants an evening meal. Those wishing to attend this meal must indicate the fact on their registration form. Participants may also invite their own guests on the condition that they indicate this fact on their registration form and pay the corresponding amount when registering for the event.

There will be liquid and solid provisions such as:
